In 2005, BEST partnered with the
University of Louisville and WHAS-TV to develop a state-wide network for
Cardinal Athletics. The programming includes coverage of football and
men's basketball as well as the Rick Pitino and Steve Kragthorpe Coaches
Shows. In addition, pre- and post-game specials, season previews, and
Olympic sports are available in the package.
In 2007-08, the Cardinal Sports Network reached over 700,000 households and
we are working towards adding new systems that will push that total past 1
million homes in 2008-09.
